This is the action page. It pre-surposes that you have already done your research , identified and prioritised.

· Identify the extent and ownership of key estuarine habitats such as SEPP14 wetlands, saltmarsh, mangroves and seagrass from existing mapping and establish whether current zoning adequately protects their environmental planning.

· Restore vegetation in estuarine, foreshore and riparian habitats where feasible.

· Control access to foreshores, wetlands and riparian zones with fencing and other barriers where damage is occurring by people or animals.

· Erect interpretative signage adjacent to sensitive habitats.

· Establish a program to monitor aquatic plant growth such as sedges, reeds, mangroves, saltmarsh, seagrass, epiphytes, algae.

· Conduct awareness and education campaigns on the value of estuarine habitats.
